According to Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook will eventually be coming out with a search engine. They are waiting for the right moment in time when the technology to create the search engine they envision is available. There is a team that is currently working on this project. Search engines are an untapped source of revenue that Facebook will be looking to in the near future. With their tie-in to the social scene, Facebook should be able to position themselves very well should the search engine ever come to fruition.
