Real-Life Example of The Power of Content Marketing

A new article in the New York Times provides readers with insight into how small businesses can improve their revenue through content marketing.  The article provides a Northern Virginia pool and spa company as a case in point.  After business had dropped, the company’s owner decided to switch his marketing tactics to focus on making his website a resource of information related to his business.  He began to write articles which addressed those questions most typically asked by customers, and that one article increased his ability to rank for certain terms.  Law firms can also take advantage of this strategy, centering content around questions clients typically pose and coming up with creative copy that addresses the issues most pertinent to a practice.
